For those of you who are interested, here is the story of that sorry 1982 CHP that surfaced the other week on CL....Without knowing or caring of it's history, the guy with the 'hack job' '82 actually pulled it out of a junkyard, saving it from certain death! It was almost totally stripped down to a shell when he bought it from a Pick and Pull and has since 'treated' it to a plethora of modifications. It still has the bucktags, verifying that it is, in fact an '82 SSP and he was even able to make out the CHP unit number on the door, 0214 or 0274. So, my apologies go out to you, Aaron with the halarious haircut. I should have never asked TR1 to drive out to your house and kick your a**. Even though you still could care less about this car as an SSP, you unknowingly saved one of the 406 cars that are significant to law enforcement, Mustang history, and our hobby.
Thanks Buddy.

He did have a pretty funny haircut. I'm surprised that the yard sold him the whole car.

Seeing how long TR's car was for sale, what are the odds of someone saving this one?
