It breaks my heart to sell it, but it must go to pay off my 1990 Mustang SSP TX DPS Police Interceptor. This car is a really rare car, as it is 1 of 470 GT’s of this bodystyle in this color combo (exterior: gray/titanium; interior: gray) in '89, original 85mph cluster (not the 140mph, as only the first few Mustangs in 1989 got the 85mph cluster), and a strict A/C delete car (by the identification codes, original radio and power options). Although it is not a mint condition car, it won a 3rd place trophy at the Tasca Ford (RI) car show last summer in the class of stock 1974-2007 Mustangs (where I turned down four people who wanted to buy it from me for more than I’m asking now). Since it is my first trophy from the first and only (so far) car show I’ve ever entered, I am keeping the trophy with Bob Tasca Sr.’s signature for sentimental value. This is 99.9% stock. The only modification is the exhaust system (H-pipe back, has cats). I put in a Vortec exhaust that was the closest thing I could get to stock sound without spending a fortune. I have it currently setup for 6-speaker surround sound, but a factory stereo and only two speakers will be included.

I get compliments everywhere I take this car and although we have a few other Mustangs (including a redone ’89 with 36K original miles on it), this one is the one everyone always falls in love with. After a couple of years of telling people it’s not for sale, now it is. My plans were to not drive it and take it apart, restoring it bolt for bolt while I drove my ’88 GT convertible. In the past two summers, I’ve put 4K miles on the car. I use only 93-octane and get roughly 22-25mpg depending on where I drive and whether the top is up or down.

Drive it or restore it… it’s all up to you!

NEEDS:
- Convertible curtain (which I have an extra one included)
- O2 sensors (both are new at 100K, but one is faulty and haven't had the time to replace it)
- Minimal exterior bodywork (small surface rust spots)
- Floors are in 7/10 condition for age of car

Although I’m the 3rd owner, I know the history of the car. Too much to write, so if you are a serious buyer and want to know it, contact me and I’ll tell you everything I know.

I got in the car today to clean it and I found it I passed 105k, not 104k... That's what happens when you don't drive it for a while!
