Got to take 3035 out for a meet and greet with the PR folks at a local CHP office this week.

I think everyone in or arriving at the facility was out in the lot at one time or another admiring both the SSP and another vintage CHP cruiser that was brought down by a friend. I'm happy to report that the Mustang was the hands down favorite, esp. with all the ladies in the dispatch center. :) There are only three people who are still working at this office who were around during the Mustang era and drove them including the motor officer pictured above.
Fun stuff and despite the massive amount of smoke and ash in the air (and my eyes!) from all the wildland fires burning all around us, I did manage to take a few pics, some actually in focus!
