Alright guys....many of you have been waiting for reasonably priced single-key locksets, and the guys at FMR have made it happen. They are currently pre-ordering sets for '87-'93 SSPs and are offering them to members here for $175 (the price will be $200+ retail). This sure beats the $400+ the last set we saw sell on eBay went for. I've attached a pic below, and the guys should have a sample of the sets for review in a few weeks.

Looks to be about two to three weeks out. We are going to start taking pre-orders over the phone this week at a mere $160.00 per set. After 10-27 the price will go to $175 until the official release and then MSRP will be around $225 per set.

As promised......Matt and Matt @ FMR have the locksets out.

I received a set late last week, and it's really, really nice. Anyone who needs a set for an '87-'93 is now good-to-go.

Thanks for the effort and I can't wait to see what's next.

For those of you that have an earlier car we can rekey your glove box lock to work with the keyset that we sell you. As long as it was set up for single key to begin with.

I believe they are sold out with no more to be produced. I am not positive of this but if you call them they are great to deal with.

not sure if anyone else does this but I usually switch the driver and passenger door locks since the driver door is usually about worn out and the passenger lock is still like new.

That is brilliant, Jim! Never thought about that before and makes total sense.

These great ideas must flow very well after you retire. :) No wonder my brain is like Swiss cheese.
