Does anyone know if the Mass Air on an AOD is the same as a 5- Speed? I called the local Ford dealership and they said they were different. I then pulled the Mass Air on my 89 5 speed ( the car giving me problems ) and plugged in the sensor from my 91 AOD and the 89 ran great.

They are the same....no idea why the dealership would tell you that. (Part number E9ZF-12B579-AA)
