One to save....if it's legitimate. The guy talks about hatch glass in the ad, though (and the odds of it being one of the 6???).

The market for '82 CHPs must be pretty soft, I don't think anybody stepped up to save the one I found in December. Last I heard the guy was down to $1,500 asking but it may be gone now.

Well that makes me feel really good.I wouldn't really sweat it Jason, your car is in way better condition than the one I found and the value is there in yours, esp. with the extra parts Kevin threw in. The other one needed a ton of work and parts and was a decent deal even at it's original $2,500 asking. Sometimes good collector cars just go begging for any number of reasons. Any way you cut it, you'll always be in an elite club as far as SSP ownership goes.

I wasn't being too serious, I have no regrets, well related to the car, anyways.

I'd bet that it is....that's a good price.

I emailed the guy with the '82...he says that it has an 85mph speedo.
