This is my 25th Anniversary, 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible 5.0 w/AOD. I'm selling it because there can only be one Mustang in my garage and my forgiving wife is allowing me to have two for the time being.

I've owned it since Christmas of 2003. It has p/w, p/l, p/m, p/lumbar and cruise control. It has 129,900 miles. I drive it a lot. Drove it on part of the 2007 Hot Rod Power Tour. It gets stored during the winter. No snow/salt. No rust. Have done a lot to it to bring it back to shape. Here is the list of things done:

Interior:
New carpet and mats
New door panel inserts
Installed center console armrest (early '90 model year, armrest was deleted)
Stereo & HVAC swapped places along w/3 holes for gauges
Added headliner ('90 model year did not have headliner as option)
New top well liner
Repaired ashtray door
Upholstery cleaned

Exterior:
Paint is not original, applied by last owner, I rate it as 8/10.
No major dents
Had paintless dent removal done two years ago
Two minor dents, very small, on hood, last spring
Headlight lenses polished to almost good as new
New top installed 2005

Engine/Engine Compartment:
Clean engine compartment, detailed once
Leaks a little oil, probably rear main seal
New valve cover gaskets
Valve covers polished
Battery replaced 2003
Coil replaced 2003
Water pump replaced 2004
Steering pump replaced 2004
Alternator replaced 2004
A/C system replaced/upgraded 2005
Exhaust headers installed
New fan
Always changed oil before and after storage

Transmission:
Rebuilt 2005
Performance shift kit installed at that time
Drain plug installed

Miscellaneous:
190lph fuel pump
New hydraulic pump for top installed 2004
Full length subframe connectors - Maximum Motor Sprots
K-member brace - Maximum Motor Sports
Alarm system w/keyless entry and trunk release
AM/FM Stereo w/CD player

I may have forgotten a thing or two, so PM me with any questions.

The only model considered to be the 25th anniv are the Emerald green convertibles. Otherwise, it's just a dash emblem. Clean car, none the less. Good luck.

You are both correct, all the cars produced during the "25th" year window from mid April on received the Anniversary dash emblem. The specifically and specially designated Anniversary car was the Emerald Green conv with white leather interior aka: "7-UP" conv.

Wonder if those 7-UP cars will ever go up in value? <wink><wink>

That red one is nice! Good luck on the sale.

I've had it up for sale on AutoTrader since August. With the economy, I'm not holding my breath to sell it anytime soon. The wife is going to have to continue parking outside in the snow all winter long I believe.

I was going to try to edit the original post but the option was not available.

The cars built between March '89 and April '90 had the 25 Anniversary dash emblem. The Emerald Green convertables were "Special Editions". There was not a specific "Anniversary" car, as such, released for sale to the public.

Ah, no thanks. The next convertible I buy will probably be a '94 and up. But don't tell my wife. She hates to hear of my next purchase.
