ill get some better ones later. the driveline came from an 88' hatch. it is currently set up as a 5 spd which is incorrect for this car but I have all the automatic stuff put up for later use. the interior is black with mix match door panels . I can't find any armrests local for the manual window setup. the bumper covers, the hood and decklid were all trashed so luckily I have a couple cars out back that donated to the cause. I'm hoping the spotlight brackets will be in my mailbox when I get home. I think the spots really set these cars off. I have another motor that needs to be rebuilt so I intend to start on rebuilding it soon and when things start to warm up, I will finish painting my truck and then park the mustang to be completely disassembled. thanks for letting me share, Ted

Is the interior supposed to be black? I've got a pair of gray manual arm rests for sale if you'd like.

I'd like to get some nice paint on my car too. Some day it'll happen.

Keep posting your updated pics.

Welcome! That car has come a long way from what it used to look like. Here is one from a while ago.

no, the interior is supposed to be red. I have quiet a bit of red interior but not yet complete. I figured I'd get the driveline and body lined out first. the black is incorrect but it looks good for now. I've never been a fan of red anyhow. I couldn't tell you how much of it I have given or thrown away.

here is another question, where does one get a solid red dash, steering wheel, and the housing for the guage cluster? I've yet to see that except in pictures. maybe 88' had the red with black on top? anyone know for sure?

It seems to me that 92 or 93 is when they went to the solid color dash. I know 93's were that way. Doug

Those solid red interiors were awful! The red w/black isn't too bad. I took my convertibles red/black interior and replaced the red carpet w/black and put black inserts on the door panels to break up all that red.

No worries... I do the same thing from time to time as well. You need to do what you have to do to have a daily driver.

Looking good.

Ted, I have been following this car along with many others. On this particular car what I know is only what has been posted on it by 86NeSSP who personally knows the guy you bought the car from. I would not be able to offer you anything you don't already know but be sure that if anything else comes up I will give you a call.

Meanwhile I am enjoying the progress you have been doing on the car and can picture it completed.
