this car is from dona ana county las cruces new mexico DSO 56-0015
the car is all stock with 55,000 miles according to the clean carfax and auto check and the tags on all in place,no wrecks,2 buck tags has no angency listed just says police DSO 2 times on one tag and the other tag has all the other info and says under the DSO tag that the car is property of new mexico traffic bueral and has a little sticker on oppsite side of the door jam that says property of dona anna county,I found the built sheet under the rear seat still in good shape it says jan 1st 1992 dona anna county and all the info and says ssp on the bottom with a few of the ssp parts ordered like hoses, also the car has no rust anywhere very clean the driver seat has lots of wear needs to be replaced, few panels need to be put back on needs a passenger sunviser and 2 door handles and driver side door pins, power locks work good, fuel gauge and temp.not working, lots of holes on the dash and there is some kinda police equipment under the hood still with all the wires, lots of goodies still on the car and I have to say no one has taken off anything still has oil cooler,130 amp alt,160 speedo, trans cooler(trans works great)stock cats, stock catback, air horn, wires, dose not have blue hoses but where ordered on built sheet,I'll get some pic's soon, and I'm very happy with her (I will need a one spotlight it still has the mounting bracket on the post) so what do I consider this ssp a NM ssp cause they were made in 1990 only from what the usage chart says and no 1992's????

1st - welcome to the forum!

Since the state of NM didn't buy SSP's in 92 according to known records, and the fact that you found the sticker that says property of dona anna county, I'd be inclined to think that it was originally purchased by a local jurusdiction versus the State. Regardless, that's a really nice find. What are your plans for the car?

+1. Welcome to the website.

If the build sheet lists Dona Anna County, then that's who ordered it. :)

thanks all,yes I have a real nice find here and I am going to put her together best I can as far as police equipment don't know yet at this point for now I just wanna fix the door handles and put new door pins on and find me a spotlight and go from there I will post some more pic's when I can get to the car, there seems to be alot of wiring still left on the car and there are a couple of modules under the hood left there and some wiring going to the tail lights and lots of holes in the dash,I will take pic's of that to so maybe someone can tell me what they are exactly and also on the users registry there is another car with DSO 56-0017 does that mean this car is also from dona county??cause I don't understand alot about the cars and the states and countys they came from, but I hope to learn.
