I just got my April issue of Mustang Monthly where it lists the " 45 Most Significant Mustangs Of All Time " and sure enough the SSP is amongst them.:2thumbs:

Thanks for the "heads-up" on the article, I'll be looking for it. I have a subscription and after I receive new one in the mail will scan and post on my Fotki if anyone wants to avoid having to buy one ($$) off the rack at the store. Here's link to where I have periodical items saved for anyone who doesn't have the link....will post to the SSP album.

Its just a paragraph or so with a pic of an 85/86 CHP so nothing thrilling but still cool!:)

Hello - I scanned and posted the whole article to my Fotki site...link below will take you there. Amazing how much earlier you rec'd your issue than me since you're in Canada...about 1 week earlier.

The SSP was ranked 35 out of top 45 Most Significant Mustangs Of All Time. Picture #131 is the one that speaks to the SSP. Enjoy!

The SSP pictured is an '86 CHP owned by Phil Sanchez. It and at least five other restored CHP and a number of other SSPs will be showing at the Fabulous Fords Forever show at Knott's Berry Farm next month.
