Hello From Ohio

Hello everyone. My name is Joe and I am currently an active police officer in N/E Ohio. I guess I should re phase that. I am currently out on disability due to injuries sustained in a on duty motorcycle (pursuit) crash.
My wife was getting sick of me sitting at home doing as little as possible so she told me to get a hobby that didn't involve women or drinking.
Well being in Law Enforcement for 20 years and an avid car and motorcycle fan I deceided to take a look at SSP mustangs. Holy smokes is all I can say. You guys make us LE guys proud of some of your restorations.
So my quest is on to locate an SSP, and get rid of the 89 vert I currently have.
Also if any of you guys need advise on equipment or locating used stuff, I have built up a pretty good base of people to call when our department needed something.
I hope I can somehow contribute to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome guys. No I'm not looking for anything in particular in the way of a car. The biggest thing is that i'm not looking at doing a full blown resto. I dont have the facilities for that right now. Lookin for an unmarked for sure.

Hi Joe and welcome. I know where there is a mint, 48k miles, unmarked dark blue, auto trans ssp for sale. Another member here is trying to sell it. Not sure what your budget is but this car is priced at 10k and worth EVERY penny.

I just got my new 09 Harley from my PD. I don't ride it every day, just when weather allows. The idiots in the cars are always the scariest part of my day when on the bike. Sorry to hear about your injury. Send me a PM and let me know what PD you are with. I have 6 yrs 7 months and 14 days to go. (not that I am counting or anything........)
