Hi all, my name is Clay and I enjoyed meeting a few of you at the 45th show. I work in law enforcement and have always had an interest in the SSP cars. I previously owned a SCHP car (should have kept it). Anyway, after seeing the cars at the show and meeting some of you, I've decided that I need to build an SSP car. I will probably be putting my '85 regatta blue GT up for sale soon to precipitate buying the SSP. Anyway, enough about me, I believe that all "intro" posts should contain pics of some type, so here is a link to the 135 photos that I took at the 45th show.

Welcome to the site, Clay.

Thanks for the posting the pics of the show....looked like a nice time and I heard that the weather was a heckuva lot better this time than the show in '06.

What kind of SSP are you considering?

Yes, the weather was beautiful. Unfortunately, I only had about 4 hours at the show on Friday (it was my wife's birthday, so I'm fortunate that I got to go at all).

Growing up in Georgia, I'm partial to the GSP cars (and I have a possible line on a '92 for sale), but would probably be just as happy with any agency.

I love the Georgia cars. That blue is soooo nice. I know lots of people don't care for automatic cars, but they'd probably make an exception for ultra-blue. :)

I'm partial to the FHP cars for the same reason you like the GSP, though.

Good luck with your search and let us know if we can help.

Thanks for sharing the photos...wish I could have been there...seeing the photos is fun, though.

Heh, yeah, the automatic has always been a detractor for me on the GSP cars. It's why I ended up with a SC car the first go round.

Nice pics thanks for sharing. I really like the GSP colors, enough to overlook the AOD. Welcome to the site.

I forgot to mention that I also have hi-res photos of the cars if the owners want a better pic.
