Shock Question

I'm replacing the shocks and struts on my 89 and the only listing they show for rear shocks on the 89 is one type for 2.3 and V-6, and another type for Mustang GT. My question is, are the shocks on the 5.0 coupes the same as on the GT. Also, should I replace the quad shocks seeing as the car has 160000 mile on it?

Same as the GT. The quad shocks main purpose is to prevent wheel or axle hop. Couldn't hurt.
