WOW! I love the red/red color combo, and being a 5 spd & airbag car, I would be all over that in a heartbeat if I didn't have #8395 coming out of the body shop in another week or so. Although the history of the car isn't listed, it's a very good price. The only thing more I would add is -

Most likely a Tx DPS Roll up windows and Cruise Control. I would pull the trigger if I could.

That's what I was thinking (black underhood).

Kinda funny about the one day only thing, though. I'm sure there's probably an interesting story behind it.

That would be a great car to have. Too bad it is so far away and the goofy sales tactic.

If it's a '93 shouldn't the trim be the same body color? At least here in MO all the cars I saw had painted body trim.

BAD Repaint most likely.

Yep, 1991 was the last year for black trim. 1992 and 1993 were body color. So either a bad repaint or more leaning towards the mystery of why he wants to sell it in a day...of course the add is still up.

The shock towers in the engine bay are black, indicating that the entire car was black. If it WAS a Texas DPS car, then the body would have been painted black with matching trim. As stated it probably got a bad repaint and they kept the trim black. I still think it's an interesting car, but I cannot bring home another SSP (right now)
