I'm finally getting around to posting this here. I'm selling my 88 FHP SSP to fund some much needed improvements to my shop among other things. I hate to sell the car but need to do some upgrades to stay competitive. I want it to go to a good home, to someone will take care of it and appreciate it. It is fully equipt, everything works, runs & drives great, many new parts including NOS cat back, rebuilt trans, new heater core, headliner, clutch, brakes, tires, to name a few. The markings are permanent. I'm open to SOME trades, nothing spendy. Can deliver depending on how far away. If anyone has any interest at all PM me for all the details. I don't have a light bar, never used one. I will post a pic of the outside as soon as it stops raining here, accidentally deleted the one I had. Doug

In trying to keep it in the 'family' I am dropping the price to $8500 with free delivery as far as I can go economically. For obvious reasons I can't deliver to the east or west coasts but would do my best to go as far as possible. If anyone is interested PM me. I'm running out of time so if no one is interested I will have to put on E-bay soon. Thanks, Doug

Sold & delivered. Thanks CNTLOSE. It was great to meet Matt & his wife. Great people. It's very comforting to know the car will be appreciated and well kept. What a great couple, hope to meet up with them again some day. By the way, I took Matt's car in on trade in case someone is interested. Great car. Doug

Thanks Doug the FHP is Great! It looks wonderful and I can not wait to take it to it's first car show next Sat. We had a good time standing in the middle of the "ghost town" talking with you and your wife...wish we would could have stayed longer.

Also for any future buyers of anything Doug might sell. As if you could not tell he is a great guy and well represented the FHP both on-line and over the phone. I would not hesitate buying another car from him.

Here are few photos I took after I washed her once I returned home. Hope to take her to a nearby park soon and get some better photos.

It looks right at home in your driveway, it looks content. It has probably forgotten all about me already, LOL. My wife & I had some business to do this morning and she wanted us to take the WSP car. Very unlike her. Usually to her a car is just a car. She really likes it. Thanks for the compliments, I feel the same. It was a great no surprises deal. Very satisfied. Thanks again, Doug

Well thought I would bring back this thread and update the status of this car. I recently purchased a wrecked '88 GT with 66k miles. I plan on putting the '88 GT motor in this car. (I am keeping the original.)

I am also going to repaint the engine bay and swap out pieces that are nicer, cleaner, or need replaced with OEM. I also purchased the correct style "STATE TROOPER" fender decals and the correct rear deck lights. As far as interior it is all very nice but I may change out the carpet and replace the rear deck when I change the lights out. I also was able to purchase a correct chain drive Jetsonic with the light set up in the correct places. I do not have a JSS controler, but I still plan on installing the lightbar with a modern controler for now.
