I found a set of 82-84 steel wheels on craigslist a couple of months ago. Guy that had them said they came out of his dads basement and that his dad had taken them off a WSP mustang in late 87 when he bought the car. I had them shipped to my daughters place in Tacoma WA and she finally got around to shipping them to me. They arrived today. They do not look as though they have ever been painted other than at the factory. Check out the color.......
I wonder if they came off a blue truck enforcement mustang??? Do we have any inservice photos of 83-84 cars with the wheels painted a color other than black? I know Marlin Workman from WSP painted his 84 SSP wheels white. This paint looks like factory and it is only on the outside surface of the wheel.
