Hey guys, names Don, not new to Mustangs, but I just picked up a 1990 SSP, it's originally a Colorado State Police car. I've always liked the SSP's, this one has been modified a little, but I plan to take it back to it's glory days, if I can find the right parts.
It's at my friends shop right now, I was planning on heading out there tomorrow to get some pics, but weather will not permit that, we have a big storm heading our way.

Thanks guys. My original plans for this car were to just basically drive it, but my heart tells me to restore it, these cars are too hard to come by. Someone started to turn this car into a drag car, but I already own a drag car, and would like to take my attention somewhere else, so I thought this would be a great start.
I'm going to ask alot of stupid questions, I'm way out of my normal realm...lol.

No prob, Don. That's what we're here for. CSP cars are pretty few and far between, so glad to see it being restored.

This is what I'm used too...lol...originally bought the coupe to be it's little street brother, daily driver. Once I saw all the history on the car, and all the paperwork, plans kinda changed, that's why I'm here.

Your turbo car is awesome. I love the comment that you tripped the 60' lights with your rear tires because of the wheelie!
Looking forward to seing pics of your Colorado car. Those are not all that common.

Thanks guys, looking forward to all the help I can get...lol. I've been looking, looks like the CSP is a little more harder to find info on.
Thanks for the comments on my turbo car, it's getting there. We'll be turning it up in the spring.

Welcome Don! Glad to see you made it over.
Guys, I've known Don for a few years now and can tell you that this SSP is in good hands. I've seen the turbo car first hand and it's unreal. I know Don will put the same effort in restoring this SSP so consider it saved. :)
