this car is correctly described by the seller. I can provide information about the car if anyone is interested in purchasing it. Based on what I paid for it when I bought it and what I sold it for the car is not overpriced IMO. This one is a pretty good candidate for a restoration.

No bidders with 3 days left. I am surprised. The car seems like a good value, and being an 82 CHP that should ramp up the desirability-factor. The CHP items with the car is a big plus IMO. I purchased my 85 CHP a little over a year ago with no known CHP info/documentation (luckily that was later found) in about the same condition, and my purchase price was a bit under the BIN price of $4,500.00. Hope an enthusiast buys it!

I paid 1750.00 for my other 82 and it doesn't need door panels, has all the original drivetrain with 130k miles, plus both buc tags. Also has all the original body panels and the extra CHP seat belts that were installed.

That said the car is what it is and they are getting very hard to find not all hacked up. Even with 393k miles the car is a good restoration candidate for someone who is looking for that type of project.

I agree with what you guys wrote about it being a good value, but it doesn't help that the car is missing all of the original CHP-specific e-equipment it was sold with (CC1, etc). That stuff is pretty hard to find (and pretty expensive when you are actually able to find it).

What a cool little-ole car! If I had it, I'd just take it back to original (not in-svc) condition. Maybe a solid black with all new interior!

I wish I was home from overseas so I could get this but i wont be back for 3 months. Dang if only I could have a place to store it and have a chance to check it out before buying. It does look really good in the pics though! guess I will have to wait till I get back. :crying:
