I have a 1984 Mustang SSP from Kentucky that is in decent shape. Some rust rust in the floor (drivers side) and around the front fender aprons. Car is apart right now but I have all parts that go with the car. The original motor with t-5 are torn apart ready for rebuild. The car is Cadet Blue 5C and academy blue interior. It was always an unmarked car.
I also have a 1991 parts car that can be available with this SSP. Please feel free to contact me about any of the parts/ cars.
James 727-412-3500 cell/ days or 239-304-8503 home/ nights.
Please someone buy this project from this site because I would like it restored to its former glory.
I am in the Naples, Florida area for anyone who is interested.

Not sure where that info came from, but it's not correct. Jim and I were able to trace his white '84 to the Sherwood Police Dept after its' OSP service and I have an in-service picture of it when it was at Sherwood.

OK, lets get this straight...........This car is a Jefferson County ( Kentucky) police dept Mustang. not OSP. I have title history and records from the JCPD garage on this car.
As i stated the last 6 are 240618, not the numbers he posted. I have the vin's for all the JCPD (KY) cars, including 82's, 84's, 85's, 86's, 87's, and 90's.

Nodrama's car is not from KY. Its an OSP car. He has 2. Since you quoted his post, it looked like that's what you meant.

No I do not own a Jefferson Cty SSP.
Both my 1984 SSP cars were delivered to :
Damerow Beaverton Ford
12325 SW Canyon Road
Beaverton Oregon
number 10690 served with the Oregon State Police until it was purchased by Sherwood Oregon PD where it was in service until 1991. It was purchased at auction by Harold J. Russel of Gaston Oregon. He kept the car until I bought it from him in 2005. When he bought the car he took the original roll bar out and threw it away.
number 10689 (also delivered to Damarow Beaverton Ford in Oregon) was in service and sold 4/13/92 with 103,003 miles in Kelso WA. I traced the car back to the owner that stated it came from WSP and was an unmarked car. This car was unmarked but I have not confirmed if it was WSP. It could have been Pierce County, or any other local jursidiction but for sure it was not in service in the state of Kentucky. This car lived it's entire life in the state of WA until I brought it to Ohio.
The vin# range for the 1984 OSP, WSP, and various local agencies in the NW US were built in July and August of 1984. DSO #74-0291 included 20 vehicles, starting with 210683 to 210702. This was one DSO number and there have been several other confirmed 1984 OSP cars with several different DSO numbers (74-0017, 74-0074 and 74-0011).
Ok now that we have all that cleared up I am going to eat some pot roast.
Here is an in-service picture of 10690.

Oh and I forgot. Props to my bud from the great state of Georgia for fixing the intake, and all the other little things, while he had it in his temporary possession ! The car runs like a sewing machine, everything works like it should in the car and it is a blast to drive. It is actually one of my favorites.
Glad I got that one back !!

I've got 2 84 SSP's both with 74-0074 DSO, one is Oregon vin#181823 the other is vin#181348 (guessing Oregon has same int/ext holes etc. as my other car) both have production date of 5/84. 181823 was from a batch of 29 cars, founds these goodies in trunk when I purchased car and the build sheet behind drivers 1/4 panel.

cool. I added this DSO to the earlier post. Real hard to argue with a build sheet !
The more documentation the better ! Thanks for posting it up.

easy to confirm these cars now by calling kevin marti and getting build sheets and or Eminger invoices. Both of mine verified as OSP cars.
