Ok, I drove the new SSP to work and also got to take the kids to school in it . the car is so quiet with original exhaust that we had to turn the radio up!
It drives great , all options work ! all new Ford A/C components / semi new BFG tires .. does need truts/shocks asap.
At lunch time we opened it all up looking for neat SSP findings as this is only my 2nd ssp.. Take a look at my link pics ..
I figured these USPS cars would not of came with any extra equip ??? but i was wrong .
The trunk cable pic ??? that cable is huge in diameter ??? you guys familiar with any of the items in the pics ???
Any help would be great .

That color is really nice :2thumbs: . Did they have a radio mounted in the trunk or something like that? Any holes under the trunk liner?

That's for the radio....also a nice pic of the Sti-co splitter. Pretty standard for unmarked gov. cars.

Looks good. Congrats again.

I believe it makes it able to use the factory antenna for the two way.

I have an odd question .. would the site members bash my SSP is i put some markings on it ??? USPS stuff ?? but yet keep it clean looking .
maybe you guys could give me some ideas , yes /no ??

I have to do the black wheels with this color ..? I will keep the originals and paint an extra set i have .

You guys know what these ssp's ran for window tint ? what % tint ?
off work today and would like to get wheels and tint done today .

Hector,

Obviously...it's yours to do as you want, but I would keep it as original as I could (and buy another marked car if you like those).

Window tint is whatever you want it to be. Not every G-ride has tint, and you'll find the same to be true equipment-wise. Cars are set up by different offices in different divisions and they definitely varied.

Black wheels will look nice and glad you are saving the originals.

+1 and if you take it to car shows have a "story board" made versus relying on markings that weren't ever used on the car.

You guys are correct on the markings , it will remain all Blue ..
as of today it got new struts, shocks, quads also , kept all orig stuff.
window tint 30% all around
and my favorite , black wheels , saved orig wheels/tires for show only !
she rides sweet now and looks mean !

Looks like something used to extend the life of the battery (kills power via a relay to prevent battery drain).

I was thinking same thing, Toshi. Obviously a very trustworthy young man. Couldn't help but visualize the attached of brand new 07 GT500 being crashed through back of garage by the son. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sTqXroyWIM

Funny how one of the comments was "John, John, you'll get a new bike relax". New bike! What about the damage to the car. LOL. Lucky he didn't hit the classic Mustang parked nearby. :rollinglaugh:
