Interesting is that in the decoding I found the transmission listed as "5-speed, not T-5." I'm still trying to find exactly what manual transmission is correct for the car
Don't know where or how this decoding was done but the T-5 is the only 5-speed ever installed behind the 5.0L engine, in any model year or any model.
The Build Sheet also shows 'E4ZR-DA' ('84 through very early '85 T-5) for the transmission and the first Buck Tag shows 'MBW' (manual Borg Warner) on the fifth line.
If the VC Label was still on the door it would have a '2' (T-5) at the beginning of the five-character 'TR' code.
