I finally gotten around to the FHP car I recently bought. Trying to clean up a little and straighten out a rats nest of wires that were left behind from previous owners. After washing the car I can see the outline of the roof numbers that were on the car, 0862. Just curious if anyone has any info as to what troop this car was from.

Congrats on your find. If no one here can help you, you might try calling or emailing the FHP and they might be able to tell you.

No luck, I tried that already.

What brought on you wanting to sell your car? I saw it on ebay.

Do you have the original title or a copy of it from Florida. They wrote the troop assigned with the letter on most titles ? Any extra documentation with the car that, can give you a path to follow ?

Try to get a copy of the original title !

Have you done a carfax on it? If so and you can find an inservice accident that might give you a location and from there you could find what Troop covers that area.

I had a '94 GT as well and one needed to go. The '94 sold so the FHP is staying.

Good luck getting anything from FHP. I can not even get anyone to answer my e-mails or talk to me on the phone. It is like the SSP's never existed. I did find out from CARFAX where my SSP was Smog Checked and I assume that that is the area it served in, since it was checked at the same station for several years in a row. Good Luck.

I know what you mean there!! I have way too many toys !

I will check on the carfax, my car has had a OEM driver fender put on it and bumper cover. The rest of the car has the correct vin stickers on the body panels.
