I need a DB702 in white for my '86 DPS coupe. The car is going to body/paint in the spring, and I can't have this big gaping hole in the 1/4 panel without something to seal it. Please reply here or PM me.
Thanks!

I've got one. And I have the correct whip for it. You would have to work out the wiring though.

Back to the top here, now I just need the cable for a DB702 (will have a fitting on the end that the White DB702 base threads onto).
Anyone, please!?

Should be a regular style NMO mount, no?

It is..3/4 inch regular nmo.
Ive used the smaller one before but it barely grabs the edges of the hole. = No good.

That's what I thought....my '83 TX car still has the original mount on it. The lower part of the 702 is the toughest part to find, IMHO.

I bought the 3/4" NMO from radio shack, didn't fit. And they didn't have any other styles, so I don't know what I could have done wrong there. The NMO mount was too wide, the threads of the DB702 Base wouldn't fit over it.

Maybe you have the wrong base?
Have a pic you can post of it?

Maybe, I'll get it tomorrow and post a picture. When you talk about the base, are you talking about the white part, or the die-cast threaded piece under the white part?

The part under the white part.

Thanks Mike, I'll check it out. On that note then, does anyone have an extra metal base for a DB702?
