Anyone that can provide me a photo of their Unitrol # 131 headlight wig-wag flasher on an '82 CHP Mustang? I have the flasher, but no instructions.

Thanks,

Greg

Mike,

I need those instructions and a photo of one installed - the exact location on the car where I need to install it.

Thanks!

Greg

Greg,

Location is top of the left fender well, per the directions above. I do not have a pic of an installed one handy.

If you can blow up the pic above, it's all there. If not, I will scan it and post it when I get a chance.

Gives me a start to look for the mounting holes. That pic is a little hard to read in places - if you can scan it, that would be great. Just when you get a chance.

Was anything on the inside left shock tower? Too dark to take a pic right now, but I've got holes there facing the motor.

That's probably it. Check out the pic here: (use your browser setting at 400% and you can see it)

Aha. Found a pic. Got any idea what went here...if anything?

THAT'S IT!!!!!!! I just went out an placed mine there and the holes lined up!! I didn't think about going through those photos from the magazines. You're the man!!

Mine was mounted a little high and the hood release cable gets shoved up a bit. There are also several other holes there as I noted in my photo. I'll see if I can mount this flasher tomorrow for a test photo and I'll hook it up later.

I applaud your skills with the "paint" program...that was a fast edit! :bouncy:

Seriously, though, glad to help 'cause that's what we're here for.

um...that is NOT skill. LOL

I do wish I knew what the other holes were for. I'll keep researching.

Some of those look like factory holes...my '82 is out in storage, but a few match up with the '93 in my garage.

She's not wired up yet, so after snapping those pics, I pulled it back off. Maybe after the tune up she's been waiting for, I'll look into the wiring problems I'm having and then look at wiring this up.

If I could get a scan/better photo of those installation instructions, that would be much appreciated.

Mike,

I just found this. If you get the chance to scan this install sheet, I'd appreciate
it; tried blowing it up and couldn't read it clearly. Sorry- nothing like 50+ year old bifocaled eyes...

Thanks muchly!!
