Hello,

I know I've not been around for a very long time but i can't forget you guys and I'm going back to foxes, more likely an SSP. I found a SSP that's almost completely intact and stock, it was slightly modified but returning to stock as we are speaking so I'm possibly going to grab it.

Anyway its a possible GA State Trooper due to color coded as Dark Shadow Blue Metallic but DSO is 24...? ill post pics and you guys can help me out...

door sticker and vin are there.. hopefully this helps a lot.

MJ welcome back, looks like an unmarked FHP (don't know if FHP had blue interior?) or local agency. GSP would have 2 paint codes and I believe a Georgia dso.

hmm that's what i've been wondering.. the seller asks for $1500 as it is, upper stock intake in trunk, it had trickflow intake which was taken out and planned to return it to stock, as the email states below.... is that reasonable?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
When u purchased it originally, was it in running shape? If yes, how was it running? Not Too Good, no oil pressure when warm.

Ac works? No A/C

Cruise works? Don’t know, only drove it in the yard.

Axle sounds good? Yes

Auto trans works fine? Don’t know.

How do it drive? Ditto

As is for $1500, stock intake in trunk goes with the car and I assembly it back together on my own? Is that what you are asking for? Yes

GA state patrol is out of the picture, that leaves local agency or FHP as unmarked as possibilities..

100% not a Gainesville PD car. What do the bucktags say (DSO Police)? I'd also guess it wasn't an FHP car, based on the Carfax.

Hello,

long time no talk, Imevil1.

cant see the bucktag, headlight are blocking the view so.. i only can see first bucktag clearly. Anyway, will find out when i bring it home next month, deposit already have been made on this unique ssp. sadly, motor is no good, and its not original, its painted blue and i could see the block plate neat water pump that's for manual fuel pump i believe which means its a old carbed motor from older mustang so he's going to give me fresh rebuilt 302 from a wrecked 1991 convertible for reasonable price and free towing. so it'll be a good project!

more pictures to come for tonight.

Interior and car itself are all intact and many ssp parts are there.. when i opened the trunk, it has white paint below.. radio supression cable are still attached to the trunk.. i'm surprised it's all there.

It has been awhile, MJ.

Paint code is for Dk blue, so it definitely is a nice color. Good luck with it.

Just realized by looking thru FHP restoration page 2, i noticed kill switch located on FHP cars are exactly positioned like the 89 SSP, i also forgot to mention other old owner who's a good buddy of mine said that it used to be a supervisor car.... it could be unmarked FHP.... since DSO 24 XXXX...

Bucktag says Ocala, FL.

Good place to start. Still weird that it shows a Gainesville registration, though. Ocala is a small PD, and they should be able to help you out.

Keep us posted on what you find.
