I think that was the same one listed on Ebay a few weeks back. Shipping would be a fortune.

Actually an APO/FPO address is a military address. I am sure that the owner can send you the mustang back to the states at very little to no cost. It is more then likely an Officer in the military.

I think I remember him being in the military from the last thread on this car (or somewhere). Can he ship a car that he sold the same way that he did when he originally shipped it over?

It depends a lot on him. When I was in Japan if I wanted to buy a car from the states from a dealer, for example there was a ford dealer inside the Kadina Airbase and the sales guy told me that if I bought a car that was at another Ford Dealer in the states he could have it shipped for free. If I left Japan I could ship my car back with me. Depending on the persons rank, depends on the weight and number of things that can be shipped. He can say he is shipping it back to a family member due to him having to leave and then they will let him ship it, again the cost goes by his rank.

Unfortunately for me, at the time I was in Japan I was only a Lance Corporal E3 and could not afford to have a car shipped.

What was your MOS?

My primary MOS was 0311 Infantry but I along with two others where used as Snipers to suplement Fast Company. I also shot at Matches for the Division. Pretty cool, I met GSGT. Hathcock and shot with his son who was a SGT at the time, now retired. After active duty I joined a reserved unit and I went to ANGLICO and became a Forward Observer 0831.

Semper Fi.
