I belive it was used for patrol car keys for the Michigan State Police.

It has Michigan State Police 5601 Stamped on it.

In looking at the number 5601 it appears to be a now closed post from Wayland.

There is minor wear on it.

havn't seen those. I have the original with my 89 MSP and it is the green plastic tag they have used for a long time.
