SSP GT's

I was looking on Craigslist and seen a GT for sale. I got it and the history of the car says it prior police it was a dare car. I never knew GT's had a role in SSP history. So I have been up all night doing research on the car and trying to see where it is originally from.

Several Mustang's of various models were used by Police Departments for various reasons. But a SSP is just that, a SSP. Just because a GT or LX hatch or even a LX coupe was used as a Police vehicle does not make it an SSP. A SSP was a package built by Ford for fleet duty.

Any Mustang used for Police duty can be neat to document and own as they were rare, but it will never be as SSP.
