He brought it to Asheville last September. It looked nice, but I did not look over it as a buyer. I do not recall his name at the moment but he seemed like a nice guy. I also have not seen him post anything in awhile.

I'd have to see it....or some better pictures. Plus, it looks like he's been trying to sell it for almost a year?

After that post I do not remember seeing it anywhere else. I think he made a couple more posts for shows he attended but nothing else...at least that I recall off the top of my head.

I was thinking the same thing Matt. Had forgotten about that post, which was a while ago but don't recall ever seeing it up for sale anywhere else.

I don't think that the guy that had the car at the Biltmore is the owner now. If fact I sold my CHP decal set to the guy that bought it, but I was sure that I sent the decals to a man in Virginia. It is a nice SSP no matter who owns it.

I mentioned this car to a retired CHP officer I met at a show this past weekend and talked more about it with him yesterday. Well it now looks like CHP #5327 going to be headed back to the Golden State as he struck a deal on it today.

He's thinking it rates a covered transport and is looking for some references....anybody?

That's great to hear. It's alway cool when a car like this "finds its way home".

In terms of transportation, I sold my Model A a few years ago to a guy in Phoenix, and the carrier that picked it up was named Cim (Kim) Miller. His number is 602-8zero3-0032. From my side of the sale, the trucker seemed top-notch. His enclosed trailer held at least 4 cars if I recall.
