I thought that looked odd. Do you mean its not original?

I think that was the last year for the tan interior. I wish they would have kept that color option through 93.

On those pesky eBay pictures that won't let you right-click & save, here's what you do. Once you have the desired picture on your monitor, you can hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, open MS Paint, hit paste, crop the total screen shot down to the picture, and save. That's what I did here -

thanks all, any ideas on what a fair bid would be here?

The CR label has a couple paint / tape lines in it, looks like it may have been painted blue, then repainted black?

For me, the one thing I would want to confirm (beyond the car's overall condition) would be whether or not the FHP Unit Number is known. I didn't see any mention of the Unit Number in the eBay ad. FHP's are hard enough to find information on these days, and buying a car without knowing the Unit Number would be a deal breaker for me (I got lucky on my CHP and found the number after I bought it). You might want to get a list of questions together and contact the seller before bidding.

Good ideas, I sent a request about the unit # and the CR label. I will let you know what he says. This club is the best

Well that was quick. He says he doesnt know the Unit # and the car was blue and they were all defaced with black before auction, He states it is now correct and recently painted. Oh well, I will keep looking. thanks for the ideas

I wouldn't disqualify it completely just because of the unit number issue. It looks like a decent car. I didn't know the unit number on my '85 until last year, and there's a chance I'll never know the one on my '83 TX DPS.
It's true about the auction paint. Check out my '93 in the "Spotlight" section here.
