I found this today on the Minnesota State Patrol's Facebook photo wall page. The trooper who was first assigned (Sue Hackett) my SSP was 1 of the first 3 female troopers in state history.

Cool photo to add with your documentation. I hadn't realized she was one of the first three female MN State Patrol Troopers. :2thumbs:

She was 22 when she graduated from the academy, 35 when she was assigned the SSP, and is now retired and 57 (living in Phoenix, AZ).

OK, now it's starting to sound like you are stalking her!
:D
You really have to be part stalker, part bloodhound in order to get historical information. I know, I've had to do a number of research projects for police vehicles and can only be successful if you hit that strange edge at times!

She is only 2 years older than me (hope my wife doesn't read this), but married to an ex LEO and together they run a bathroom design business. I'm searching for her email address now to contact her about the exact equipment she had in her car (I already have her home address in Phoenix, so I may write her a letter). If she is ever back in MN, I would love to have her sign the underside of the hood with a white paint pen. I just won an auction for a bobbing head dog for the package tray (just like the one she had back in the day, according to a perp I met at a car show that was stopped by her in the early 90s). :D
