So my parents wanted to make my 16th birthday special, and my dad had seen how much I cared about SSPs and preserving them, they gave me my dads 85 CHP 8337 :D
I can finally fit in!!!:D
I cant believe I got an SSP. Pretty soon I'm going to start restoring it.

First off Sam, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I think it's great that your parents have cultivated your interest in Mustangs and SSP's. That car looks like a great foundation for you, and I'm sure you will have a great time working with your Dad to bring it back.

Congrats. Treat her well and with a lot of respect. Seen too many teens wrap muscle cars around trees. Looks like a fun project so good luck.

Happy Birthday Sam!!! I was signed up for Ripon paid up and I was called to go to Cresent City Ca to pump concrete on 6 apartment buildings. I was really bummed out not being able to attend the show. But I am going to MAKE SURE that I will be there with 1985 CHP# 8336 AND 1985 Nevada #30 next year. Ken will also be there with his restored 1989 CHP SMPV# E435300!! I hope to see you and your dad !!:D

One of my dads friends (my friend too) went down to Ripon. I asked him to look for your car. He said he didn't see it and I now know why. Hope to see you too next year:) Who knows, maybe 8337 will be there...;)
