1992 Ford Mustang State Police Special Service Pkg, This historically accurate; and unique retired (no longer in service) Michigan State Police Mustang was optioned as a special service package for usage as a high performance law enforcement pursuit vehicle. Used only for traffic control purposes, this vehicle was not driven in winters or even in rainy conditions. This car has no rust, and has not had any accidents.
The Mustangs were engineered for quality, performance and reliability. Only 20 were made for the MSP in 1992. The vehicles were fast for the time, and these good looking blue beauties are a rare find.
This remarkable vehicle with 61,500 original miles, and the car has the original matching buck tags in place. The car is in exceptional, excellent shape and in proper working condition. This MI State Police car is authentic in every detail, including the correct badging and the police equipment that was used during that period (excluding police computers).This Mustang has been carefully reconditioned. This Mustang motor features a 225 HP 5.0L (302-CID) HO V-8 engine with sequential multi-port electronic fuel injection. The high performance engine is teamed with a 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission, 273 axel ratio, torque 300ft lbs, fuel economy 18/25 (mpg) AC (may need work), rear defrost, P-locks, P-windows, P-mirrors, scores of standard features and of course the Special Service Pkg.
