Just put a deposit down on a 1990 Colorado SSP, does anybody have any in service pics of the INTERIOR?, have searched a lot, and cant seem to find any, found some exterior shots, but no interior, just curious how the radar, and radios looked installed.

Thanks in advance.

Those are so elusive. I was given the only interior shot I've seen of a 1992 CSP Camaro like mine and posted it for reference as some of the same equipment was used in the Mustangs.

Hector has an '88 CSP SSP and we've been looking everywhere for photos of the interior. There's an episode of Real Stories of the Highway Patrol Heroes segment that gives a brief glimpse inside an aero CSP SSP, but the MPH K55 antenna was removed for the shot as best I recall.

The Unitrol light controller was mounted on a bracket above the center console and the radar antenna was above that, I think. Have no idea where or how the radio was mounted or what year they switched from the old Motorola to the Maratrac that's in my '92 Camaro.

VASCAR Plus was used as well.

Nice! I was never able to get that one recorded.

James Harper is the brother of David Harper, who was one of two assigned to my '83 CSP car. They were both involved in shootings working out of their Mustangs within about 3 months of each other.

You can put the link to that video into keepvid.com and save it.

When everything works out and you get the car, if you plan a full restoration, we can put you in touch with a certain CSP Major to fill out the application for approval to order and display official CSP decal reproductions. They perform a background investigation after you fill out a questionnaire and write a letter to the Colonel. Hector did all of the legwork to get the decals as accurate as possible. I tweaked a couple things when ordering mine based on photos I was given by a retired trooper friend. I have a set for my Camaro with a letter authorizing their static display at car shows. Freaking awesome!!

Just look for our praises of the CSP on this site. They have been super supportive. I can't say enough about them.

No restoration needed :) But yes I would like a set of decals to put on magnets

H-O-L-Y C-R-A-P!!!! :2thumbs:

What a beautiful SSP!! What a beautiful Mustang!!

If you find the correct Force 4LP lightbar, find 2 of them. I still need one. Make that 3. Hector needs one, too. LOL

Order the decals on magnets like I did. It's the same company that makes their current decals.
