Not mine listing for friend. 89 Louisiana DPS #5833 this car has lots of paper work with unit # on it. Car is show car quality, unfortunately has been repainted wrong shade of blue and has stripes... NOS quarter glasses and door trim. interior is very nice and original. He thinks he still has radio unit that was mounted to console. has original 10 holes also. Car has been swaped to 5spd but still has all automatic components to put back stock. Trans is still good he just wanted a 5spd... will post more pics and info soon. He's asking $9000 has more than that invested.

more pics... Oh yea, car has super charger also. Engine has excellent oil pressure and is in great shape. Car was built for shows and cruises not to race.

Thanks for posting that one up. An 89 Louisiana SSP is pretty rare, and the in-service paint scheme is very nice IMO for a single color SSP. Given that some of the history is known about this car, I hope it finds a good home.

What color blue is it supposed to be? Very nice car though.

I thought I saw the door tag with 7N which is Dark Shadow Blue Poly or PPG color code #3946.

7N is absolutely correct!

That car is legit.

Just curious - are the stripes painted onto the body or are they vinyl "wrapped"?

That's a really nice SSP....

(for some reason, can't edit/add to my original response above....so I'm having to create this additional response)????

Are there any known pics of the car as to what it looked like when it was in service?

Where is the car located, I looked over your thread again, but don't see any info as to where your friend's vehicle is located (state)?
