Got a new job so sadly i am selling my 1986 mustang ssp. This was bought at the auction about 15 yrs or so ago when they auctioned off all the utah highway patrol cars, car has 193000 miles and runs and drives great, its all original other than some headers and a bigger throttle body, however i do still have the original headers and original throttle body. Car runs and drives great, heater and a/c both work great and this car has very minimal rust. The doors are the worst of it but the body and the rest of the car are totally rust free. If it was me i would probably replace the doors, although you could salvage them with a little work its not too bad. I know how hard to come by these 86 ssp are so i am firm on the price.

Also comes with a full size spare and the hubcap for the spare. Interior is clean although a dash cover would do wonders. Everything works on the car and i currently use it as my daily driver. Tires are also in good shape. I have sold a couple cars on this site and take great pride in representing it accordingly. And i would trust this car to drive cross country if it needed to.

forgot to mention i would also replace the rear trunk lid, 20 bucks at the junkyard. The rear lip is just kinda rusty, on the trunk, the actual body, and floorpans and rockers are clean as can be.

I'd recommend Matt to anyone looking for a SSP car. I bought the match to this car from Matt a few years ago it was exactly how described , I'd buy this one too but I'm flat out of room in the garage. Matt I built a set of centers for my car. Good Luck with the sale!!!!

4k is a good price. The four eyed cars are getting harder to find.....they made fewer of them...and they will bring more $$$$ in the future.

Thanks steve I appreciate it, and i would keep it but i dont want to see it go to waste. Also forgot to mention it has a brand new fuel tank and fuel pump so thats one less thing to worry about, and the previous owner was a diesel mechanic and he was a perfectionist on it. New plugs, wires, and he always ran synthetic oil in it. Also has Aluminum radiator with factory fan shroud. Runs and drives great.

I'm all about the field and barn finds lately but 3100 for this and no takers? Would be a real shame to see this one and the '83 WA car fall into the wrong hands.

he is driving it home, lets just say its not going to be pristine anymore. I will keep you posted if he ends up selling it. Shame that it got wrecked because it was a clean ssp. Just cant believe it, 2 days picked it up in utah and wrecked in ohio in under 48 hours.
