stephan king's the stand is about to come on. There is an ssp in it, the trooper stops by the gas station that the plague starts spreading from. It is in the first part of the movie. At least that is what I remember.

87-89 texas dps with manual mirrors and odd lightbar. Must have wanted lightbar so everyone would know it was PO-lice when they watched it on tv.

It says in the resto doc. That the '93 didn't run spots, but nothing about the other years. The wheels where blacked out which means it should be a 87-89. The movie or mini series was released in '94, probably filmed in '93. Maybe one of the Texas experts know.

Wil need to see it. iremember seeing a movie awhile back were they were at a Road Block. Might be the same movie.

Thew Utah fans need to see Desperate Hours version with Mickey Roarke.

has quite a few SSP's in it.

I am going to guess that since it's a movie they just used any bar they could find and didn't use an actual in service or real car....

i want to say it is similar to the one you have for the Colorado car....cant remember exactly what that one looks like though. Definately old and not correct, from what I have seen.
The Stand is one of the greatest books ever, imho. Unabridged of course.
