I finished installing the "display only" (non-functioning) equipment on my original/unrestored MN State Patrol SSP this morning. The SHO-ME under bumper lights and Five-O light will be the only operational equipment. I'm still waiting on my door shield decal so I can complete my "AFTER" MN State Patrol SSP. It will be fun to show these two side by side this car show season. :danceban:

Thanks Mike, I'm glad I found the right home for your old MDT (and VASCAR too).

I like how you got the "BEFORE" plate positioned in the rearview mirror! Why isn't it backwards in the mirror?

I was wondering if someone would notice that. I did not plan that, and did not notice it until I pulled the photo off the camera. A couple of weeks ago I set the plate flat on the passenger side of the package tray facing the back of the car. It must have reflected up onto the rear window glass (backwards) and the rearview mirror flipped the image back. Strange, but kind of a cool "happy accident". If I had tried to get that to happen, it probably would of taken hours to get it just right (even if I would of thought of the idea in the first place).

That's a pretty neat photographic accident.
