Just posted the '87 sedan I stumbled across. Figured it best to establish my bonafides with a pic of my SSP.

Not sure of her history with CHP, but she is certainly one. What I do know is that she was sold off at auction and purchased by a pilot for fed ex who left it in Memphis while he was in town.

He used it for about ten years and upon retiring from Fed Ex, he sold it to the gentleman who I purchased it from. It is 99% rust free, (rust in spare tire well) and only mod is an underdrive pulley. Has approx. 150k and runs great.

The reason she is in hibernation, is that the mice got into her 2 winters ago. One smell I cannot stand is that of mouse urine. Therefore I have gutted the interior and she is sitting waiting for me to get her back together...

Not much into putting her back to her in service condition. I will put her back into her "as delivered" condition. Here is a pic of her shortly after I picked her up.

Congrats on the purchase! It will look great back in black and white.

Pete, thanks for the picture. That stinks (literally) that you had mice squatters take over the car. My SSP had a nasty odor too when I got it, but replacement seats and new carpet fixed that. Please keep us posted on your progress (we love pictures!) :)

New carpet will overpower just about any odor!! I need to do that this summer to get rid of the moth ball smell mine has.

Congrats on another CHP acquisition.
