Going through some more Real Stories episodes and saw this AZ DPS car. I can't remember if I posted it before, but I couldn't resist. I guess the DPS let their guys swap out rims. ;)

(my apologies for the image quality..this isn't a still).

There's an "82 CHP in the "Articles" section that had some non spec wheels.

Mike,
Can you identify the lightbar of what is in the front bumper?
Do you have any more in service pics of AZ DPS?

Thanks

Those were donated for a car show...then I'm sure taken back off. :)

Interesting thing about that car is the pinstriping.

Bill,

The front bumper has a pushbar and two clear lights (like offroad/driving lights).

I have more footage of the AZ cars, just have to go through what's recorded.

I couldn't tell (slowing it down and going frame by frame).

The lightbar is a Code3 Brand. The SSP cars had pushbars that were made at the DPS shop. I never saw any units with custom wheels. There were several units that the officers put small wings on the trunk lid. I took photos of a 1992 AZ-DPS car with a wing.
