I first saw the '89 FHP Unit #1526 at Charlotte in 1999, I was hooked and must have asked the owner a 1000+ questions. I had hoped to obtain it all these years and finally the opportunity presented itself at the recent MCA RI show.
While having breakfast with Tom and Donna Gouldy, Tom says: "You know Gregg, I'm thinking of selling my car". I nearly choked on my meal and my wife (Bonnie) had to speak for me. "I think Gregg is interested in your car" :D
After brief discussions a transaction was agreed upon and the long sought after FHP was delivered to it's new caretaker. I can not thank Tom and Donna enough for delivering the car last month and for taking such wonderful care of it for all these years.
It now joins my '89 SCHP and the picture above is from a local show (Sunday) where they both took "Top 20" awards out of a field of 80+ vehicles.
We are looking forward to many shows (MCA and local) with both cars for years ahead.:)
