Hello.
Just picked up a 88 SSP. No verification on it yet, and it appears the buck tags are missing, but the signs are there. http://i531.photobucket.com/albums/dd357/asheck30/100_2485_zps8c528527.jpg
We also have 2 84 L 5.0's in the family, don't let the Saleen tag fool you.

Nice! I remember seeing that one on CL. Welcome from another fellow Kansan! I am guessing from the VIN these guys can help your confirm its origin.

Welcome! Is that an antenna hole on the roof I spy? And one in the quarter panel?

Thanks for the welcome.
Yes it was on CL, for all of around 3hrs :) As far as I can tell it's 95% original, with 103K .
Yes, those are antenna holes in the roof, and quarter.
I'll start a thread in the forum for it, and try to figure out what I've got.

Didn't Nebraska have ones in that timeframe with the same color combo and pinstripe? Seems to me they had some interesting antenna usage too. Maybe check out some of the in-service pics. If you're in Kansas, I would think a number of them would be in that area due to proximity.

MO SSP's had Antenna mounted on the quarter as I recall, and there were definitely some white ones.
Thanks for the welcome.

I've looked at the Mo ones am not sure what color the pinstripe is. The Nebraska ones do look blue.
