I am wanting to redo the seats in my 92 mustang. I read that the SSP came with different material than a non SSP. I would like to find the original pattern. My interior color is scarlet red (code FD). Where is a good place to buy from? Late model restoration has them ,but they don't look the same as mine in there photo.

sms auto fabrics www.smsautofabrics.com ( Eugene, Oregon )

They have original material. They are hard to deal with at times, meaning really slow. BUT it is exact. AND.. very expensive, like some at $90.00 a yard.

Go to a well established automotive upholstery shop.
They have sample books to match your upholstery material for your year of car.
Get those codes. Call SMS With one code, they can tell you the other codes.

The upholster shop can tell you approx. how many yards you will need.
The material for my car was just over $700.00, ( with shipping ) upholstery was $700.00, but my seats were in great shape. They did an excellent job on them. I had extra material.

LMR has great products and prices, but their upholstery was not anywhere close to original if that is the look you are after.

Best !

Apparently there is another place that sells original seat material also. Back east somewhere.

They are easier to deal with and a lot less expensive.

I'll have to get that info from my upholster. He told me about them.
It will be a week before I can get that info. to you.

Give me some time.
