To be added when I get the rest of the CHP magazines here (hopefully). This is a nice little story from FHP on the origins of the Mustang program (published in 1987). Interesting, also, is the lack of a specific deployment area mentioned. I also like the part about working together on this with CHP. Enjoy.;)

Great find! I love the over-estimated fuel economy rating. I wouldn't challenge the 28 hwy, because I easily got 25 with my '85. But 21 mpg in the city, yeah right. :rolleyes:
