If you go to agency specific photo gallery(Texas DPS) on this site, scroll down to 1987, you will see a red and blue strobe mounted on a thin metal bar at grille opening......these are what I am looking for, Thanks for any help guys!

Greg here is what i have. This housing is aluminum and uses the same self contained (with power supply) strobe assembly as the Whelen Dashmaster. Look at the housing configuration and let me know if this is the light you are looking for. I do not believe it is and the 1987 in service pic doesn't help us much. Maybe Mike can chime in?

I have NOS strobe assemblies and lenses and can bead blast the housings prior to sending them if you want. Here is another picture.

I believe this is the light you need only in an aluminum housing.

Jim thanks so much for responding! You too xxtrpr. I think yours(Jim) look like the ones on the 1987, 1989 & 1990 Texas cars shown here in the "in service" gallery.
I thought they were supposed to be like the ones xxtrpr just sent in an add from craigslist but, in single beam not twin. The gallery pics(above referenced) state newer models maybe that is where I am confused?
