I'm jealous!! I want an 86 ssp one day to add to my collection.

Do you have a copy of the original title? Sometimes they wrote the unit # on the title to keep track.

Welcome to the site. The four eyed FHP Mustangs are so nice-looking once they are restored.

thanks, and yes i love the body styling of the 4 eyes better then that of the 87-93's. this one is getting fixed up...just don't know how close to the in service design it will be. i know the tan interior is staying,it will get another spot light put on,it will go back black

Can you take a pic of the buck tags, and a better one of the door tag? I am sure Bill (28HopUp) would like to add those items to the page for this car in the VIN Project. The only info that is in there now is the FLHSMV screencap.

I actually can make out a few codes on the door tag. A better quality image would help even more. It is likely the same as other 1986 FHP door tags that I have seen.

And if you don't have a copy of the original title with the unit number on it, I believe you can still pay to have the Florida DMV do a search for any accidents your car was in. Then if it was, you can pay for copies of the accident report and if it was an in service accident it will have the tag number which is the unit #.
