Saw this on CopCarDotCom:

I am a indie film producer based in Atlanta, Georgia. We need 1 - 3 cop cars from 1992 or earlier for a scene we are filming this Sunday, January 19th, in the evening in the metro Atlanta area.

It's an independent family film, called ADOPTED, and the scene depicts two brother being rescued by police officers.

No stunts are required, and there is no risk of damage to the vehicles.

Is there someone in Georgia you could put me in touch with that may be open to renting these vehicles to us?

Any help or leads are appreciated.

Thank you!

Mrs Lewis contacted me yesterday morning . They need pre. 92 police cars for the opening scene of a low budget Christain movie. Only problem is they're filming between 5:00pm & 11:00. They wanna use one of my cars but that'd put me getting home between 2-3 am !!! Undecided as of now...

Couldn't get very good or many pics ( it was at night and I was driving). That's Joe's (from copcar.com) restored NYCP Plymouth in background.

Ha ha :-)

I did get to drive it into the scene... I (luckily) stayed in car while a actor jumped out of passenger side and ran to assist in the arrest. Afterwards another actor ran to my door and pretended to fill me in...

I guess my caractor was too important to risk getting hurt :-/
Lol

Got to meet Joe DiCorpo though ! That made it all worth while. His NYPD Plymouth was awesome!

Ohh yea
It took 12 takes before they were done...

Joe's a big collector from copcar.com. Mostly vintage cop cars. He's also the one that donated the 37 and 67 to the GSP. He worked with them years ago and is good friends with Jimmy Crump. ( That's how I got involved in the movie). Get a chance go to the site and look at his album (it's worth viewing ) :-)
