When I bought the FHP, the PO took the carpet out and put rubber flooring in it. :doh Anyway, I need to buy carpet for it and I noticed ACC has the standard carpet and then they have a "Mass backed" version that's supposedly "closer" to stock. I know that ACC's standard carpet can be hard to lay down right, and it seems a thicker padding would be worse.

Has anyone used this mass backed version or has anyone heard any reviews of it?

Thanks!

I have used it in the PA car. It was a lot easier to install than the regular carpet that I put in my 94 veret. I did find some spots where the pile was not as thick as it should be. I also took the carpet out of the box and laid it out flat over night. This helped to make it easier to install the carpet.

Yep, laying flat and even laying out in the sun helps too. So it was easier than standard to install huh? Thanks for the review, I may just try it. ;)
