All,

A local friend is selling his 1989 WSP Mustang. The car was likely part of the commercial enforcement program when in-service. It originally had the same "fleet blue" repaint over white like Mike J's car when purchased. The car is located in Tacoma, WA.

Diego rarely gets on the forum and has been busy with work. He asked if I would post up his info on the car to see if any interest. You can contact him via the info below. I have seen this car a number of times over the years, and it would be a nice/solid start for either restoration or as a fun driver.

More pics/info as they come in.

Details:
1989 Ford Mustang
Mileage: 160,912
Engine: 5.0L V8
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Former Agency: Washington State Patrol
Power windows/locks & mirrors

Upgrades:
Short throw shifter
Quick ratio rack & pinion
3.08 rear differential gearset
Electric fan with 3G alternator
Trick Flow stage 1 camshaft
Aluminum cylinder heads & roller rockers
BBK full length headers & H-Pipe
Flowmaster cat back exhaust
5-lug conversion with SN95 front disc brakes & Aerostar rear axles
2001 Ford Mustang GT 17" wheels
Recent paint - Decent driver quality, but may need to be upgraded down the road.
Recent new clutch

What need to be fixed/looked at:
Will need tires soon
Should have an alignment
Interior is consistent with age and agency use - could use a refresh
Rear diff has a worn out clutch pack and bad pinion bearing
Exhaust seems rich with fuel mix - lambda meter shows perfect ratio
Drives rougher at lower speeds due to larger throttle body - runs better at higher speeds above 25 MPH
Cam related idle surge (to be expected).

White, then blue then primered? Confused. What do you plan on doing to it?

Originally white, then painted blue as part of the commercial enforcement program by WSP (1 of 2 we have found locally), then the owner repainted the car on his own to spruce it up (hence the primer). :)
