Body for posterity;

Factory 5.0 with 5 speed tranny. This is an ex-Georgia State Patrol car. I have a digital copy of the paperwork.
AMSOIL Synthetics in motor, and diff, Royal Purple in the tranny.

Factory 5.0 HO with fenderwell cold air intake.
timing set to 14 degrees
New Engine wiring harness
Underdrive aluminum pullies
BBK X-Pipe with cats
Pypes Stainless steel catback exhaust system
15" Electric cooling fan

new AC system and Heater Core

FMS 4.10 Gears in the rear with new carrier and trac lok kit.
Trick Flow rear stud girdle on rear
5 Lug Conversion with 01 GT front spindles and brakes, Russel SS brake lines
Rear Disc conversion from SN95.
Tires and wheels from 01 Gt

Eibach Sportline Suspension
Polyurethane mounts and bushings
Tubular rear control arms
New front control arms from Ford

New Black Carpet
New Corbeau bucket seats
Dash in good condition

Runs great.

THE BAD:
I was side swiped and the driver side fender was peeled off as the trailer went by. There is no driver fender currently on the car. This also caused damage to the fiberglass hood. There is about an 8 crack that will need repaired. The hood flew up and damaged the cowl and cracked the windshield. Needs paint job, hood repair, fender replaced, windshield replaced.

I moved out of state and was unable to take the car. Please contact me if you are interested.

Price lowered to $2500 without cowl hood and front seats. He has stock hood and blue front seats to go with car...;)

I hope William or one of you other guy's save this one...:popcorn1:

Heck there's probably $1000 worth of go fast goodies on there you could sell and end up with like $1500 in initial purchase...

Just sayin' LOL

I would love to see it saved...
Like it has been talked about before, These cars that are cheap are the ones that fall into the wrong hands and get modified beyond ever reasonably being restored...

Found out something interesting about this GSP. The owner sent me the Vin the other day. Yesterday he sent me a pic of the door label. Well they do NOT match...But it is from a 88 GSP ... Providing he sent the correct Vin # originally (which is from a 88 GSP also) then evidently this GSP was wrecked in service and repaired with a donor door from a previously wrecked 88 GSP at HQ. So I may be documenting two in one 88 GSP's

this one sounds very interesting. Can't wait to see your pictures. If it was repaired in service with other donor SSP parts, that's a cool history.

Ok guys,
I looked at it this morning. As far as I know William (ex91gsp) is planning on buying it. This is the last Vin of the 100 1988 GSP's (225817) and it does have a donor door from another 88 GSP Vin 225722. I believe once restored this will be one of the coolest GSP's out there. (Just my personal opinion) I hope it gets the attention it deserves :2thumbs:

Remember the 88 GSP Vin range is from 225718-225817

William is out...
Spoke with the owner. He will still take $2500 with original seats and hood cash in hand. But what he was saying is he will not hold it for $2500 in case one of his other potential buyers comes up with his asking price of 3k before next weekend. So if anyone's interested it can still be had for $2500 minus aftermarket seats and hood.

I agree...I considered it, but with the interior change over, paint, ect. It may be costly. There are some good parts there to sell to fund it however.

I agree on plenty of parts to sell to lower initial cost. I know the previous owner spent $900 on all new AC... So that's definitely a bonus...
